We're excited to announce the dates for our Vacation Bible School 2009! This year's theme will be 'Dive In!', and each evening session will include Bible Stories, games, crafts, food, songs and friends. We're excited to announce that Prince of Peace is now a pickup location for the Community Food Co-op of Utah! The Co-op provides nutritious food at 30 to 50% savings through collective purchasing, and helps build a sense of community by bringing people together to work toward a common purpose. This program is open to anyone in the community, and more details can be found at www.foodco-op.net . Monthly newsletters, which provide detailed ordering and pickup information, can also be picked up at church. We can always use volunteers to help with this program, and many church members have enjoyed participating and meeting new people in our community! We hope to see you there! |

Our purpose is to give people working or out-of-town on Sundays another chance to receive God's gifts through his Word and Sacrament. Everyone is welcome, especially those who can't make it to church on Sunday mornings. God has decided to stay connected to us through his Bible, through Baptism and through Holy Communion. That's why we're adding this service--to provide an additional opportunity to grow stronger in our connection to Jesus. This new worship opportunity will be held each Monday evening at 7pm.
