Symbols of Lent – Midweek Devotions
The season leading up to Easter is called Lent. It’s a tradition in Lent to spend extra time thinking about our Savior and how he willingly walked the road to the cross for us. This year we will do that by focusing each Thursday on Symbols of Lent, things that remind us of important events and truths in the suffering of our Savior. The symbols we’ll study: 30 pieces of silver, a rooster, a purple robe, a crown of thorns, and nails.
We invite you to midweek Lenten services – each Thursday in March at 7:00PM (soup suppers on March 16 & 30 at 6:15PM). The services last about 45 minutes. Come and see your Savior’s love!
