- Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:15 PM
Family Bible Hour
Every Sunday, beginning at 9:20AM
Family Bible Hour offers an opportunity to for all ages to know their Savior better. Each week we offer “Sunday school” for preschoolers through 6th graders, and parents are always welcome to come and learn right alongside their children. In Family Bible Hour, we learn, discuss and apply the true stories of the Bible, then reinforce them with crafts, drama and multi-media presentations. We also periodically learn about mission work and sponsor mission projects or charities in our community. All ages are invited to join us, starting in our gym area at about 9:20 each Sunday morning.
How to Be Free from Bitterness
Sundays at 9:30AM
Bitterness is a feeling we all suffer in this life. Whether it’s toward our parents for something that happened 30 years ago; an ex-boyfriend for dumping us in college; or our boss for firing us from our last job. Bitterness disguises itself in many different ways and we are usually able to hide it from others, even for a number of years. But is it something we just have to live with? Or can we truly be free from it? Thankfully, God has something to say about it:
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31)
Bitterness may be something we all have to deal with, but thankfully it is something that God’s Word can free us from suffering. “How to be free from bitterness” will be our topic for Family Bible Hour on Sunday mornings (9:15-10:15ish) after Easter.
