Classroom News and Notes

Week of November 29th

It’s hard to believe that the Christmas season is already upon us! I hope you got to enjoy some down time over the break and reflect on all of your blessings, the greatest being our Savior! We will spend a good amount of time doing that in our classroom this December.

This week…

Memory Work -

We have started  working on our Christmas program parts a bit.  Watch for more information on this to come home soon!

Spelling- We are on Unit 13 this week!

Christmas Gift Exchange- We will have classroom gift exchange at our classroom party on December 22. If your student would like to participate girls should bring a $5 gift for a girl and a boys should bring a $5 gift for a boy. We will play a game to see who gets which gift!

Math- Keep practicing those math facts at home! Being able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide the basics without having to think too hard is essential to future math concepts.

Puzzles- If you have any jigsaw puzzles at home that are of nature or something educational (maps, space, etc.) that you would be willing to let your student bring to school, please feel free to send them. They have quickly mastered the ones in our room. 500-1,000 piece puzzles work the best for them. Thank you!

As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have!!!
