Week of April 22nd

This week…

Religion- This week we will continue learning about Easter Sunday more in depth. 

Memory Work-    

Tuesday- All are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Romans 3:24

Friday-  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

Math- 2nd grade will begin a new unit on telling time! 

3rd grade will begin a new unit on geometry and measurement.  

Although we are not currently using math facts during math class, keep working on them to keep them in your student’s memory! 

Spelling- We will work with Unit 30 words. The pretest will be Monday with the final test on Friday.  

Reading- We will continue our poetry unit this week. Last week we learned about alliteration and how to use a simile in poetry. This week we learn about onomatopoeias. They’re my favorite! :)           

Science- We will continue learning about flight as time allows this week.   

Tissues- We have blasted through our tissue supply with all of the colds and allergies this year. Please consider bringing another box or two for the class.
