There's a fascinating verse in the Bible that reads, God "has also set eternity in the hearts of men" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The verse speaks about how God has hard-wired human beings to know that there's more to life than just what we can see and sense in this world.

We know deep down that there are eternal things we should be concerned about. What will happen when we die? Is there real meaning and purpose to this life? How can I have peace with God?

At Prince of Peace, we provide God's own answers to these questions. We do this using the Bible. It's message is at the center of every worship service and every class we offer. God satisfies our eternal longings through Jesus Christ, and with joy we share that good news.

If you would like to learn more about Prince of Peace or to talk about spiritual things in general, please contact me to arrange a meeting. I love sharing Jesus' peace and discussing the Bible. Or, if you'd like to visit one of our classes or services, consider yourself welcome.

Pastor Jonathan Micheel has been serving Prince of Peace since 2005. Prior to that, he served as associate pastor in Modesto, California, after graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 1998. Pastor Micheel, his wife, Cheryl, and their four children enjoy Utah and reaching out with God's grace in the Salt Lake Valley.

Pastor Tyler Peil joined Pastor Micheel in serving at Prince of Peace in 2017.  He is a Michigan native but graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2005 and spent many years serving a congregation in a small town in Nebraska before moving to Salt Lake City.  Pastor Peil and his wife, Jill, are blessed with four daughters and their family loves to be together, to spend time outdoors and to watch movies with big bowls of ice cream.

Pastor Peil is thankful for the opportunity to be a messenger of God’s Word and God’s love to people in Salt Lake who know their Savior, Jesus, very well…and to those who don’t…because Jesus loves them all.  If Pastor Peil can pray for you or visit you or help you with God’s Word in any way, he would be delighted.  Please feel free to contact him anytime.
