Who May Enroll

Prince of Peace offers Preschool through 8th Grade. 

To enter Preschool, children must be 3 years old and toilet trained by  September 1, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year.

To enter Kindergarten, children must be 5 years old by September 1, 2022 for the 2022-2023 school year.

Extended Care

Before & After School

Before School Extended Care runs from 7:10-8:10 AM. 

After School Extended Care runs from 3:45-5:30 PM Monday-Thursday.

After School Extended Care runs from 2:15-5:30 PM Fridays.

The cost per hour for Extended Care in the '22-'23 school year is $5.65.

NOTE: Our Open Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year will begin on February 14th for current families and March 1st for new families.

Consider scheduling your school tour now so that you are ready for when enrollment opens! 

HOW TO APPLY​

New Students

  1. The enrollment process at Prince of Peace begins with either a private tour or a phone conference with Principal Michael Paulsen. You can schedule a tour online through our website or by calling our school office at (801) 261-3808.

  2. Once we have answered your questions about our academics and programs, tuition, and financial aid opportunities, as well as having a chance to see our campus and meet our staff, you can continue with the registration process. 

  3. When registering, please make sure to select Prince of Peace, Taylorsville, UT as your ENROLLING SCHOOL. You will need to complete an online registration for each student you plan to enroll. If you have any questions about the online registration process, please contact Mr. Paulsen at mike.paulsen@popschool.org

  4. Your request for enrollment will be reviewed and acted upon by the Prince of Peace School Board once we have received your online application as well as your completed FACTS account setup.

  5. Upon account setup, the office will charge the yearly registration fee of $100 per student to your FACTS account.

  6. You will be informed of the School Board's decision by email or phone call. 

  7. Upon acceptance, any additional paperwork should be returned to our office at your earliest convenience. 

Registration will be done primarily online, with the exception of Part A below. Part A must be done with paper forms that are part of a family registration packet, which are available for pickup at school beginning March 1, 2022. The information in Parts B and C contains information that is meant to help you register successfully and efficiently. Please download and review the Parent-Student Handbook and the other forms and information provided. By completing the online registration you are agreeing to submit to the governing policies of the school, including policies and guidelines in the Parent-Student Handbook.

PART A

 

All parents will need to fill out and return the following documents to school. All of these documents are included in the registration packet and are also available online for your convenience. These forms are due back to the school office in order to finalize your enrollment.

  • Tuition Worksheet

  • Immunization Form (Returning families need only update any new immunizations. For more information, you can access “Immunization Information” located in Part C).

The following optional documents, if you choose to make use of them, need to be completed and returned to school (details in parentheses).

The following documents are informational in nature and will be helpful to you as you complete the online registration. Please download and read through the documents that are applicable to you and your child(ren). 

Continuing Students

A re-enrollment for current families takes place every year in late February. Official registration for the next school year is completed once all registration forms are submitted/returned and the registration fee ($100) has been paid via FACTS.
