Our pastors are integral in our Bible instruction and mentoring our students, families, faculty, and staff.

Below you will find information to give you a better idea of who we are at Prince of Peace. There are also useful links and important school year information for future and current PoP families.

KINDERGARTEN

Our Kindergarten is taught by Mrs. Veronica Vilski and will now be offered as a half-day program with a full-day option. Mrs. Vilski believes in learning through hands-on, real-life application and encouraging responsibility in all learners. She weaves the Word of God into instruction and applies Law in Gospel in her interactions with her little lambs of God.

FIRST GRADE

Miss Amy Biedenbender is our newest teacher on our faculty, and we extend her a loving welcome! She taught for eleven years in Toledo, Ohio, and we look forward to getting to know her this year and in the future.

Miss Biedenbender has a passion for sharing Christ in all subjects, and she has a nurturing, peaceful manner that encourages students to try new things, work hard, and overcome obstacles. Welcome, Miss B!

FOURTH & FIFTH GRADES

Mr. Seth Lange is our teacher for fourth and fifth grades. He fosters an atmosphere of Christ-centered service, teamwork, and enjoyment in learning. Fourth and fifth grades are a time for immense growth, and these students are held to high expectations while being given the room to try, fail, and grow.

SIXTH, SEVENTH, & EIGHTH GRADES

Sixth through eighth grades are team-taught by Mrs. Cheryl Micheel and Mr. Justin Vilski. Mrs. Micheel is a new addition to our faculty this year, but she has been at Prince of Peace the longest of any on staff! Mrs. Micheel has been our choir director, librarian, and helpful volunteer, and we are pleased to have her with us to give Principal Vilski his principal release time.

Mr. Vilski and Mrs. Micheel both use structure and support to give students the freedom to try new things and become prepared for future junior high and high school years. With enriching faith-based discussions and real-life application of Law and Gospel, students in the sixth through eighth grade classroom are shown how to grow into mature Christian young ladies and men.

ADVANCED WORD OF GOD INSTRUCTION

As our school is supported by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, our two pastors are included in our teaching staff. Pastor Jonathan Micheel and Pastor Tyler Peil team-teach our Catechism class for students in seventh and eighth grades.

This instruction is based off of Luther's Small Catechism, an in-depth look at the Bible and its teachings.

Our pastors also lead us in chapel services on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 AM and oversee the spiritual needs of our faculty, staff, and students.
