Mrs. Lauren Hoppe
2nd Grade

Greetings! My name is Lauren Hoppe and I have the privilege to serve as your child's teacher. It is with great honor and excitement that I extend to your child a warm welcome into the classroom for a year of high expectations in spiritual and academic growth. Equally as important and exciting, I extend to you, the parents, an invitation to a year filled with collaboration as we keep the best interests of each and every student as the center of our work at school and at home. Every child has the right to an education filled with hard work in a fostering and nourishing environment. When the school and the home work together great goals can be achieved. I have no doubts that your child will grow spiritually, academically, and socially.

I arrived in Salt Lake City in June 2024 and have enjoyed my work in preparing for an outstanding year. I have previously taught in Santiago, Dominican Republic from 2008-2009 (3rd Grade), at Divine Savior Academy in Doral, FL from 2009-2014 (3rd Grade), and St. Mark in Green Bay, WI from 2014-2020 (2nd Grade), and Divine Savior Academy in Liberty Hill, TX from 2020-2024 (2nd Grade). I am married to my husband, Ben. In our free time we love traveling to different National Parks, playing board games, and experimenting with new recipes. I graduated from Concordia University Chicago in 2007 after graduating from Illinois Lutheran HS in 2003. I look forward to growing professionally to better serve you and your child. Lifelong learning is a value I am determined to instill in your child.

My goal is to provide your child a quality education that will equip them with the skills to become independent and lifelong learners. Creating a safe and encouraging learning environment is the work of the teachers, parents, and students. I will work hard to provide your student every advantage to succeed in a variety of areas. I also expect the students will work hard, accept responsibility, and diligent managers of time. I expect you, as parents, to feel as though you are always welcome to communicate with me any concerns throughout the course of the year and your time at Prince of Peace . Communication is imperative in making this school year a success. Please feel free to email me at lauren.hoppe@popschool.org to voice any questions or concerns.

I am prepared for and excited for a phenomenal year of growth and fellowship with you and your child. I look forward to working with you and serving your family to the best of my abilities.
