My name is Sophie Leng, and I have the privilege to be the kindergarten teacher at Prince of Peace. I grew up in Hangzhou, China, a beautiful city that holds both the ancient and modern beauty of China. I attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan for high school and finished my educational training at Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minnesota. My life has certainly taught me how to be flexible, after moving from a city with a population of 10 million to one of only 13 thousand, luckily Salt Lake City falls right in the sweet spot between the two! I hope my international background can bring a unique experience to my students to help them grow and flourish. I’m delighted to be starting my ministry here at POP and look forward to an exciting first year.
